Training and all facilities at Surya Kiran are provided free of charge. Surya Kiran is affiliated to Usha Sewing Schools, a division of Usha International Ltd. On completion of training, students are awarded certificates issued by Usha Company. Sun Foundation has ambitious expansion plans for this vocational training project for needy women. Sun Foundation plans to open nine more such centres in slums,rural areas in Delhi, Haryana,Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Punjab .
