In this centre Sun Foundation is providing Skill Training to Juveniles in Mobile Phone Hardware Repairing Technician Job Role as per curriculum of Electronics Sector Skill Council of India. All the dignitaries were delightful after seeing the centre set up with latest tools & equipment. 1st Batch of 25 Juveniles started & PMKVY Kits (T Shirts, I Cards, Books, Note Book, Pen etc.) distributed to them.

In this training centre Sun Foundation is providing training of Sanitary Napkin Production to the girls & women of Agra. 18th Jan: Beti Bachao- Beti Padhao National Programme of Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi was organized on the 18th Jan 2015 at HUDCO Convention Centre, Faridabad, Haryana and Bhora Kalan, Gurgaon, Haryana. The Chief Guest at Faridabad was Shri Kishan Pal Hon’ble Union Minister of State Social Justice and Empowerment and Shri Narbir Singh, Hon’ble PW (B&R) Minister, Haryana Govt at Gurgaon. The programme was supported by Sun Foundation. Chairman of Sun Foundation Padma Shri Vikramjit Singh Sahney was the distinguished Guest among eminent guest which included Mr Amit Agarwal, DC Faridabad, Dr Aditya Dhaiya, ADC Faridabad. Public Interest Messages on Beti Bachao and Beti Padhao were screened at the venues. Shri Sahney addressed the gathering and flagged off the Beti Bachao yatra along with Shri Krishan Pal.
Shri Narbir Singh, Hon’ble PW (B&R) Minister ,Haryana Govt flagged off the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao yatra from Bhora Kalan, Gurgaon where Sun Foundation is running a Surya Kiran Centre for women and girls imparting free training in Drafting and stitching. The beneficiaries of Sun Foundation presented a cultural programme which was well appreciated by the minister.
27th Jan: Delivered the order for stitching 261 school uniforms of S.S. School , Nangal Shahbajpur, Bawal, Haryana. The uniforms were stitched by our beneficiaries in Haryana Centre’s under our empowerment project.
20th Feb: Sun Foundation celebrated its Annual Day on 20th Feb 2015. The audience witnessed captivating performances by underprivileged and differently abled children of Sun Foundation. Social Ambassadors of the foundation ; Navin Gulia, Meghna, Jai Chhaniyara, Vinod Thakur, Sai Prasad, Mamta Vani, Pradeep Raj were honoured and a special performance by Shub Kaur Ghuman was breathtaking. The event at India Islamic Cultural Centre witnessed many eminent personalities who pledged their support to the cause . The Chief Guest was Shri Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Hon’ble Minister Union Minister of State Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (Independent Charge) & Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India. Other eminient guests were; Aruna Oswal,Shovana Narayan, Zila Khan, R.S. Chadha, Ramesh Handa, Surjit Singh, Shakti Nath, B.S. Anand.
27th April: Gen. V.K. Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State, External Affairs, GOI Flags off relief mission for Nepal today at 5PM from Sardar Patel Bhawan, Parliament Street, New Delhi. Sun Foundation Chairman, Sh. Sahney expressed his solidarity with people of Nepal, stating that Nepal is part of his extended family and he will continue to make efforts till Nepal is out of this tough time and situation.

29-2 Feb: Hungarian Information and Cultural Centre , New Delhi along with Citizen Artist Group and Sun Foundation conducted an exhibition of paintings titled ‘For you AMRITA’ which showcased a collection of 101 paintings in the memory of great woman painter of 20th century India, AMRITA SHERGIL to commemorate her 101st birth anniversary. Amrita Shergilis touted as India’s first modern artist and is truly a national treasure both literally and metaphorically. The exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Arun Jaitely , Leader of Opposition Rajya Sabha in the Presence of Padma Shri Vikramjit Singh Sahney, President Sun Foundation, Anjolie Ela Menon, Dr Janos Terenyi – Ambassador of Hungary, Shri Om Prakash Sharma – Member Vidhan Sabha, BJP , and Mr. Tibor Kovacs – Director of Hungarian Cultural Centre.
20 Feb:Sun Foundation celebrated its Annual Celebrations embarking upon yet another year to serve the underprivileged section of our society.
